re: It’s time to offer Ajay Allen. Here is why….Posted by SlidellTiger

I understand your point, but can not have too many players.
In this class, I think it’s important you get kids who want to be at LSU and RB is a definite position of need. Who knows if Emery makes it back and he didn’t set the world on fire when he was here. Bradford is a maybe, No guarantees on Citizen. Allen seems to be a no brained.

I thought I heard him being talked about is a defensive back on here. Any chance that he would switch to the defensive side of the ball?

No. He’s going to be a running back somewhere.

Lance told me himself he is patiently waiting on a offer from LSU…. Also said if LSU offers him and Ajay, he would 100% commit to LSU. For the life of me I can’t figure out why Lance hasn’t received an offer. He’s going to be as good or better than Campbell.

I’m sure he’ll get it. He’s not as polished as WC was as a junior, but he has a high ceiling. He’s been seen a lot playing on that Neville team that had a bunch of D1 players. I just see so many things you can’t teach or get by hard work in Ajay. I swear he reminds me a lot of Marshall Faulk when he was young, but obviously I’m not saying he’s going to be on that level. I think he needs a little more weight and that’s the only thing keeping him from attracting the elite programs.

Very shifty and quick feet. Looks a little slim and more of a finesse back right now
If you watched the film, you’d notice the guy isn’t going to be arm tackled. I counted 4 missed arm tackles on one play alone. The guy is anything but a finesse back. He runs really hard.

I was hoping LSU would offer Allen, but obviously that didn’t happen.
Someone will land a very good RB.

First of all he Is one of the top 2-3 backs in the state. Dynamic player. He also WANTS to be a tiger. Another reason is to keep the Neville pipeline going. Zalance Heard and Matthew Fobbs White are huge talents that will be legit 4 stars next year. Let’s go BK!
I don't think we should make any decisions this recruiting season with the idea that it will help in the next recruiting cycle. As we have seen today, it is a new day in recruiting. Throw out all the old theories and get out the check book.
