Is this greatest class ever at LSU?

Some are saying that.

It has the potential to be. Still a long way to go.

I think this is going to be the most points we’ve ever had in a single class. It may not be our highest finish ever, but if you take this LSU class point total when it’s all said and done it probably would have been #1 overall 15 years ago. Hard to say until players make it to campus, and put up production, but the potential is there for sure.

Can’t call it until the class actually does something
That 2017 class will be hard to top from a production standpoint
Chaisson
Delpit
Jacob phillips
Deculus
Ed Ingram
CEH
Saddiq Charles
Patrick Queen
Neil Ferrell
Justin Jefferson
All of these guys are on nfl rosters right now and that’s not counting Kary Vincent and Jacoby Stevens who both were also drafted and had solid college careers

It very well could end up being the greatest!

Can’t judge that until they’re done playing for LSU

Very well may be. But 2001, 2009, & 2017 are the standard.

That 2017 class was Les’s parting gift to LSU. Ed O was able to hold it together, add a few more important pieces (Burrow, Chase, Marshall, Stingley) and then ride it to a natty

How are we competing with the schools with bigger money? Is it sustainable to structurally compete?

I'm honestly anxious about the 26 class because the great state of Louisiana has about 5-6 top100
With 3-4 being top 20

Sounds like more of a reason to be excited than anxious.

If the internet (&recruiting)were as prevalent in 2001 as it is now, this board would have exploded.

Every 8 years, so you're saying we're due?

No offense but how could you know if this was the best class now? They could end up as duds.

They need to WIN something.
Until then, just paper Tigers
