I think we may be finally repairing the Warren Easton relationship

If we hire Hankton, he got Van Pran to go to Georgia the same year we had the best college football season ever in 2019.

UGA's WR and TE look like they know what they are doing. Kirby just has to let the QB throw to them more. He as been WR and PG coordinator since 2018 at UGA. I think he will be a great hire. Parents are both NOPD officers btw. Played at Saint Augustine in the Catholic league in New Orleans.
What is there not to like about Cortez Hankton if LSU hires him?

I'm good with him as the WR's coach and PGC, whatever that is.
As offensive coordinator I think he's a bit of a reach.
Bring me Jeff Lebby and Cortez Hankton, and I shall be satisfied.

Well a few things factor into that for sure. UGA is a predominantly run team and also although Stetson Bennet has played well, he's really not a all american or even all conference QB. Chances are we will not be throwing the ball only 21 times unless a certain few things occurred.

Tyron Johnson happened. He was #1 recruit in La. #1 WR in the country. We get him and he never sees the field. He transfers to Okie St. And is good enough to get in the pros. Mickey Joseph repaired a lot of the recruiting relationships that Les and Ed had created over the years. This one wasn’t fixable. Hopefully we can maintain excellent relationships in the city.

Dude. He was the #5 WR that year.
Also, he transferred after his freshman year. He played in 9 games that year and had 9 catches for 150 yards and 2 TDs.
So yeah...He really got done wrong by LSU. Given how badly LSU screwed him over, I can't believe we could ever get another player from Warren Easton.

Yes, I was talking about him as WR Coach or WR/PGC, not OC.
