Trust the offer sheet only. Screw services and their wanna be talent assessments.

Yep, I put recruiting services down the list of importance...behind offer sheets...behind workout camps run by the schools... behind watching highlights myself , etc. The fallacy of the services star system is obvious. It is based on pro potential 4 years down the road. 1) HS players don't go pro...they go to college first and that is what almost 100% of the fans care about 2) if professional NFL general managers miss on draft day a LOT of the time (MISS far more than they hit), then how in the hell can any sane person believe the services are better when they predict 4 years in advance. THEIR entire star system is based on a bogus concept.

I'm going to guess that when he transferred, instead of updating his old profile, somehow they created a new profile for him at Calvary and the Capt Shreve one is now orphaned/out of date

Not gonna argue against you on the merits of the rankings as I'm no big fan myself.
I will argue the fallacy of offer lists. A large percentage of listed offers on profile pages are bullshite. They are self reported by teenagers. You know that Alfano example that's been talked about lately? Like that. Don't know about you but I'm not exactly keen on taking the word of teenage kids about things they don't even fully understand. Also most offers that are legit are conditional. Meaning offer today, no offer tomorrow. Who decides which are legit or not? Cai Bates had an offer then he didn't and he was committed. Make that make sense in the offers matter more way of thinking.

where are you seeing that? Post a link. For me, he is rated higher (109 and composite 125 and shows Calvary as his current high school. Do you have an old screen cap?

That is weird. And when you click the one at 165 to go to his profile, it says 125. Odd
