How many of our 3 star recruits have been bumped to 4 stars?

Their senior seasons have yet to be played. I went back and looked at Griffins film, (you know the guy everyone said was a pawn) and it's decent film if everyone would take the time to check it out they may have a different opinion about the guy. He plays with great leverage, is smart, uses his moves, and is always in the gap he should be to make the play. The only negetive I can find is his size. If he has a good season and happens to grow he would likely be highly recruited. I'll bet he has a great senior season and rises some. Gotta be patient because I believe our coaches know what they are doing.

Think Griffin eventually goes elsewhere but agree his film is better than people talk about.
Player I like is Provens; looks to have good vision and ability to cut back and then hit the hole. Looks smooth, could see as a slot type WR.

He's perfect for Canada's system IMO. The way RBs and WRs are interchangeable he could be used to confuse defense's even more so. I could see them faking a hand off, letting him run to the flat then throwing quickly to him, one move and he's gone for big yards. He has decent power for a guy with his quickness also. That cutting ability and vision is elite. I really like him as a roll player for this new offense. I totally agree here. We need to get on Franklin and make sure that young man gets his grades in order. Hope he does then eventually signs with LSU. GT

I don't think you'll see any falloff by the BYU game as most of these 3 star guys will be on the bench. Its 2 years from now that this might rear its ugly head.

2010-13 3 Stars
2008-13 3 Stars
2006-13 3 Stars
Most other years range from 7-12 3 star players, with the exception of 2007 we only had 5. Point being, its not some new thing of having quite a few 3 stars. It has more to do with talent level instate being down in these years. Also if 3 get bumped to 4 stars we are well withing the avg for LSU.
Bama in most years had 8 or 9 3 Stars, outside of last year when they has only 2 of em.
