This kid has offers from 15 major football programs (typically top 20 programs) and then some.

Because he didn't commit to any of the other teams.

Wait til after his summer camps, and they get some senior film. Don't see a chance in hell he stays a 3*

Not saying he won't be good but his highlight video was shite. I've watched the other videos I could find of him at camps and he looks pretty good but not 4 or 5* good (right now at least).

To me he looks like a guy who is being recruited mostly for his potential upside which he definitely has. After seeing what I've seen on film he looks like a safety to me. Has great length and a great frame to put on good weight. The speed's there and the physicality is there. Solid tackler in the open field.

If he flipped to Bama, he would suddenly break the scale and become a 6 Star.

I never worry too much about the stars, I look a what schools are offering him. That tells me more about the kid's ability that some analysts evaluation, besides he'll probably get a bump as the season goes along.

Who cares? A lot of major programs see something; that matters way more than stars assigned by a pencil neck geek.

He looked really good at both Houston camps(The Opening and Under Armour). He received an invite to the Opening Finals camp, that's where he will be reevaluated this summer.

Then you would think that they would have updated their ranking for him by now. That's strange if he's dominating at camps but still hasn't risen in rank.

I thought it could possibly be because he wasn't going to the camps, but I could have sworn I've heard his name at some of them at the same time. I don't follow that closely to remember all these guys but that is strange.

I trust Raymond at the end of the day anyways. That guy knows talent when he sees it. GT

They don't update rankings that often. They'll probably do an update later in the summer and then do final updates in December.

I watched about 5 minutes of his junior huddle film and he looked good, but didn’t jump off the screen at me.

Banks will probably get bumped to a low 4 Star in the future. 91-93 24/7 grade

He tests well in camps, but he has yet to put it all together on tape. Hes a raw prospect.

Reminds me of Jalen Mills. Texas kid that isn’t ranked very high, but has a great deal of versatility and plays the ball well. From what I’ve heard, we’re taking at least 5 DB’s in this class due to the CB lack of depth.

While this is very true, it does hurt our sales pitch to other elite players. You would think that these analysts would weigh the offers they are getting a little more that the limited film they see.

1) Offer lists are rarely accurate, yet people love to claim they mean a kid is more legit than his ranking.

2) He underperformed in his videos. Good, but not great prospect there as others have said.

3) Just because he committed to LSU doesn't mean he must be some amazing under the radar talent. LSU hast to take CBs in this class and will oversign in that area to make up for O's eff up last year.

4) Kid is still developing and if he deserves it, the ranking will go up in time.
