Does top end speed really matter? Ive seen backs luke charles scott and ingram break away and not been caught from behind. shite duece would get by lbs and he would be gone.

J Gore is a football player from great stock.

Frank sure looked good running between the tackles last night against Arizona.

Jakhari's film shows he can run up the middle too. He's small but he doesn't just run to the corner on pitches like a lot of small guys do. He has a good stop/start move when a defender comes up on him.

His line really does a great job at the los in the video.

Shyrone Carey

Former LSU standout from Shaw HS on the WBank. Short compact RB with great vision, quickness, and strength but didn't have great speed (just good speed). Unbelievable HS option QB (best HS player I have ever seen). He had some good years @ LSU before getting hurt and having some off field issues.

But didn't get to play, because he got caught trying to sell his allotted tickets.

Yes, I remember the incident regarding the tickets. Unfortunate outcome to his football journey. Hopefully JG's journey has a more fulfilling, more commplete ending.

Another thing, Shyrone wasn't 5'8 if you let him stand on a pile of books. He was more like 5'4 or 5'5. He really bulked up when he came to LSU too. He was like a little pinball. I'm glad LSU got him and not UT or Marshall.

Notice he runs from the "I" formation. He will be of little use on LSU's spread offense. Just ask KW.

Gore is a better player than Shyrone Carey. Much better hands catching the ball and much better balance. Carey would go down eventually due to his lack of balance even if no one touched him.

In one hilight, Gore throws a halfback pass about 50 yards in the air. The guy is a player, period.
