Currently the 6th best class coming off 6-7 and 10-2. No reason they should be ahead of being we are the only major P5 school in LA and we produce tons more talent then Oklahoma

OU is a very large program with amazing history, great funding, and is joining the SEC. They always recruit well. What are you talking about?

They just lost their starting QB in the portal. That should tell you all you need.

His point is they shouldn’t be out recruiting us. I like this class a ton with the amount of Louisiana talent. That should improve if we land McKinley and sign the best of the best in the state come 2025 and 2026

According to on3, we out recruited them.

He was told Jackson Arnold was starting. He’s the number 1 player in the class of 23. Everyone knew this would be Gabriel’s last year.

On On3, Oklahoma's class has a 91.864 score, while LSU has a 91.707.
That .157 is going to kill us, isn't it?
But for real, if you think any scouting service is able to dial into that level of precision, then you are giving them more credit than they have earned.

It wasn't the best year for LA kids. The #1 player hasn't produced at a high level and there's not a lot of deep talent in state. 2025 is the opposite with a lot of quality home grown kids.

Google maps Norman Oklahoma to Dallas Texas. Then google college station and Austin to Dallas.
The Dallas metro area has tons of talent and is closer to OU than any other major school.
Add on top any solid Oklahoma recruit will always default there.
OU will be tough even in the SEC

Help me with a link to where you are seeing this. The On3 page I see has them at 9th and LSU at 12th.

On On3, less than 1 percentage point separates 5-12.

I'm guessing the boosters are throwing down after Riley left and they were panicking.

Oil Money.
Goes all the way back to when Oklahoma got a bad wrap from John Steinbeck’s book The Grapes of Wrath. The politicians got together with the oil big shots to make OU a football powerhouse.

Because we’re not good at recruiting now. But this site just wants to sugar coat everything and pretend it’s all fine.

Years ago we would always be raging at a class that wasn't #1. We were pissed to be 3-5. Now? It's pure cope. Accepted our place in the world. It's sad to see.

Little secret is Kelly is not a great recruiter.

You are a fricking idiot. At what point did lsu recruit consistently at #1 or even consistently 3-5 for that matter? This should be great

The casuals who don’t have a fricking clue are out in full force.

Do you know how to read?
Link me to where I said we were #1 consistently

According to 247, we had 4 top 5 classes out of 10 years in the 2010's. That is pretty consistent.
