Oh I agree. I’ve always said that.

That’s why I prefer Nuss over others who may be rated higher bc of physical stature yet they can’t throw it in the ocean.

Give me the accurate, high football IQ kid all day every day and the competition can have the guy who looks good getting off the bus.

Herman won’t be around to see Ewers ever start a game at Texas...

Herman will be in Austin for a long time. He just brought in 2 new coordinators that should pay huge dividends. Moreover, his first full recruiting class are only juniors this year.

Watch what happens to Texas recruiting over the next month, it's going to blow up. ??

I wouldn’t be confident Herman will still be at UT by the time Ewers arrives

LMAO you all repeat the same garbage to make yourselves feel better about the state of your program. The cultural problem cannot be fixed with better talent, Texas never really feel off that bad in recruiting like y'all claim.

In my opinion, accuracy and leadership/toughness have always been the most important things when evaluating quarterbacks. Then pocket presence and the ability to make throws from different arm slots and planes.

I think accuracy is the #1 most important trait though. You can have all the football knowledge, arm strength, and intangibles in the world, but if you can't deliver the ball on the money you can't play, especially in the NFL.

and Lol at that one guy Hitman who thinks a couple new coordinators are gonna drastically alter texas's fortunes.

these quarterbacks don't have to do that much. Be on target, make the right decisions, get the ball to your playmakers

That’s still doing a WHOLE LOT with most of the decision making in fractions of a second.

If Herman is still here when Ewers is taking the field, that's a good sign for the outlook of the next couple seasons.

I think Herman will be given a long leash simply because the hire was so highly regarded at the time. If your “home run” hire fails, why should your “double” hire be any better? Of course you can be LSU and your “reached base via error” hire could produce an all time great team.
