Kelly has the choice to stick with Nussmeier, a below average QB who has abysmal completion percentages, or go all in on a 5 star QB transfer that is Air Noland. He is undoubtedly the best QB on the market right now.

Hurley is too big of a risk. He may be all purple and gold, but that doesn’t mean he’ll get it done. And he’s only 17 years old.

Next season is do or die for Kelly. This team needs an experienced QB who will start from Day 1 and be able to elevate our competitiveness against the blue blood programs.

The choice is yours, Kelly. Grow a pair and do whatever the frick it takes to win or you’ll be out of a job in no time.

Why isn't Noland starting at Ohio State right now?

One of the ohio st qbs is going to transfer in the spring for sure. St Claire, their 5 star QB for this class will be there in the spring. You'll have a battle between Soph. Sayin, Rd Fresh. Noland and true fresh St Claire.

because, like Sayin, he is a true freshman QB. Ohio St paid big money for an all or nothing year and that includes their transfer QB.

Good chance 2 of these will tell OSU to kick sand, but for sure at least 1...

1. Noland is far from a sure thing. If you're going "all in," I would target someone in the portal with skins on the wall.

2. If he did hit the portal, LSU would be outbid.

1. Nuss isn't a below average QB. Youre a below average IQ if you think that.

2. If BK goes all in on a transfer, it'd probably be Holstein if he transfers.

Will Nuss play on Sundays or not?

Who would this be? Typically those with skins on the wall don’t transfer.

Any Bo Nix’s out there this year? Not being a smart arse, I really don’t know.

Too early to tell. None are in the portal yet.

Some big targets in the G5 will be Qbs at James Madison, Tulane, New Mexico, UTSA, and South Alabama. All have underclassmen starters winning games.

I'd imagine a lot of eyes would be on Eli Holstein if he were to jump back into the portal. Some Bama fans think he's coming back to Tuscaloosa.

He may not be below average, but he has serious problems that stop him from being even above average right now

I actually wouldn't mind that at all. He's a dual threat with a year of experience and he could legit play a second year at LSU if he wanted. I think you'd have to offer anywhere from 3-5 mill and hope that playing in Louisiana is special enough for him.

I say that because he could make the playoffs at Pitt if they decide to spend big money in the transfer portal.

We won't have a sufficient offensive line to do well in 2025.

We need to solidify our staff for at least two seasons to show recruits we have some stability as concerns who the recruit's primary coach will be. Hopefully the defensive tinkering is done. Not sure on the offense, however.

I hate to be the guy but next season is already a bust unless they spend heavy in the transfer portal and not just at QB.

Hurley was technically a QB in this year's class. Also we are going to hit the portal for a QB. Almost all successful QBs are portal transfers. Relax.

Does anyone actually watch Holstein play? He's 84th in QBR, has a completion percentage almost identical to Nussmeier, has four fewer interceptions than Garrett, and has been getting worse every week.

This is really the guy people believe can cure LSU's offensive woes and is worth big money? Nussmeier wanted to be at LSU enough that he waited for years as a backup, only to be abused by LSU fans.

Yes, he's had big struggles, but get him a true offensive coordinator and legitimate threats at receiver, give him an offseason in a real system, then let's see how good he can actually be.
