...but O was Richt's first choice reportedly. So why not go with the best?

Because we aren't making the decision. A kid that was a lifelong Miami fan that has been in contact with a Hurricane and NFL legend is making the decision.

Cry all you want about how no one goes to Miami games and all that, but for his development as a defensive lineman, he can't make a bad choice. Kuligowski puts defensive linemen in the NFL.

because "best" in this context is a bit of an opinion and any real differences are marginal at best. I love coach O and I'm glad we have him but he is not the only guy that can develop players.

You got downvoted because of your condescending attitude towards an honest question, not the first part of your statement. Besides, no one is crying, I'm a big boy who would like to see my team finish strong.

Logan could be one of the best and smartest d-linemen to come out of La. I just hate to see him leave for Miami because of the level of talent this player is.

I gave an honest answer, well above what was necessary to equal the intelligence of the question asked.

To say the school no longer supports the program is a bit of a reach. The school has invested $20-30M in the last 5 years or so in facilities related programs but they have not wanted to spend the money on coaches. That has changed with the new president - miami's collective payroll with this staff is now higher than it's ever been.

Miami will never get away from the attendance issue but that is hard to work past for several reasons - no on campus stadium (heavy politics/zoning involved here), very small local alumni base and in a pro town. No other college team in America faces those challenges.

Seems to me, he is just underlining the idea that people here who bring inside information get burned.

I would add that I agree and that its total bullshite.

Why are you here Hasan? Looking for attention or is this just some kinda Isis exercise?

Miami will never be the program they were in the 80's.

But supposedly, Logan has been a fan of The U for his entire life. Richt will do ok down there but that atmosphere is down right embarrassing.

Would you want to play at a school that will not compete for a nc while you are there and in front of 20k people or would you rather play for a nc every year in front of 100k? Sounds like a pretty simple decision from a football standpoint.

There are a thousand reasons he should pick LSU over Miami. Pointing out the one or two valid reasons that going to Miami wouldn't be a bad move is not "selling that shite school."

That's an interesting story but the problem is we don't care.
So spin it on your the board where Miami fans post.

They haven't been worth a shite since Logan was 4. I find this hard to believe.
