Yeah heard about that...so really the only aspect that has changed is the hiring of their new coach correct? I don't see that being a great reason for him to go to Miami, JMO

Yeah that has got to really stink for their players and fans...especially if you compare it to the best venue in the nation, Tiger Stadium.

It's only been a week since the dead period has been over and less then a week since they visited with him. I think your reading into it too much. Don't be surprised if you see a visit to him in the coming days.

I really hope he stays with LSU. He's one of those guys that commits early so there isn't the hype of buzz. But he's one of my favorite recruits in this class.

With all due respect, kids these days usually don't pull for an out of state team unless they win championships. It gives them something to thump their chests about.

On a side note, your username has me curious. Were you born in Shreveport in 1987 or did you graduate in 87? I ask because I went to HS in Shreveport from 83-87. Just curious bud.

I go to UMiami now, I am going to be rocking LSU gear all weekend on campus and if I see him I am trying to convince him not to come here.

meh. My brother became a Brewers fan at a young age because he liked their logo. I was a magic fan from 6 until the hornets/Pelicans because that was the name of my basketball team at the playground when I was 6. Not everybody hope on bandwagons, and sometimes little, seemingly insignificant things can mean a lot to a little kid

Miami is not a great city. It is a poverty ridden slum filled town full of Haitians and illegals. It receives a lot of publicity because of the tourist spots but even the Dolphins moved to Broward and out of Miami. The U of Miami doesnt even have a stadium of its own and has done nothing in football since it joined a real conference in the ACC and had to start playing a real schedule. Miami is a dump and Mark Richt is one of the most overrated head coaches in college football.
