I dont like that he is left handed! It's going to mess the offense up

Now the receivers will have to run the routes the other way!

You guys must not have spent much time reading the recruiting board if you're saying nobody has wanted to process Johnson. It hasn't been as common the past couple of weeks because there have been articles talking about how on fire he is and those with sources like Vol have confirmed that we are taking the two we have. But there for a while (October and start of November) there were threads and comments every day about needing Young or DJ U or going with only one QB. Either way point is Johnson is lighting it up and making CEO and Ensminger/Brady look like the geniuses they are for going after him and sticking with him!

Give those same QBs to Jimbo Fisher, Dan Mullins or Clemson and their success would improve dramatically because of what was missing under Les Miles, QB development.

Some of those QBs were given to other coaches, and none developed any further.

Just realized the typo. Must have too much randy from TPB on the brain. I’ll leave it as it.

Not to poop on the Ponchatoula QB, but I think Max will be better. TJ is more of a project with a big arm, imo

100% agree... I really wish he would go to a juco and play and really develop imo... and i dont think we need two QB's in this class...

Max looks good on tape. His pedigree is evident in his advanced footwork and pocket presence. He is also surprisingly athletic.

Also, I didn't know he had a younger brother who is developing into a solid 2022 tight end prospect. A nice added bonus.

The Johnson I’ve seen mentioned in other threads about getting processed by supposed insiders.... never specified which Johnson... We have two committed...The other being a cb...That I think projects as a nickel guy and with the Malcom Green commit this made Lorando expendable...but this is just pure speculation...

I agree. QBs who committed to LSU when Miles was the head coach committed to a dead-end street.

However, that's not the case anymore. Just look at the amazing job QB coach Steve Ensminger did with Joe Burrow from average Joe QB in his first season to Heisman winning QB in his second season.

Max isn’t going anywhere. He is a greasy prospect and fits perfectly with what Brady wants to do.

Except for the fact that Brady coaches receivers, while Ensminger coaches the QBs and is the OC and play-caller.

I think the only way you process either QB is if you flip DJ or something crazy like that. Other than that I think we take both the QB's we have committed.

It's more like the other way around, buddy. You are the one in deep denial.

WOW... I’m on here all day everyday, so not sure how that one slipped by. I thought he was one we were trying to ‘sneak’ in under the numbers on academic scholarship due to his advanced placement. Never realized he was actually committed. SMH at myself.

He’s not the one who needs to be processed. Finley doesn’t have the precision be able to handle Brady’s offense.

I like the positive vibes, but who the hell said a word about processing this kid. He is wanted and will be a stud. We are lucky that he is a committed Tiger.

I’m confused.

Is it illegal to use the term process or not?

you are confused, and I can understand why. When people talk about possibly not having room for Johnson they are talking about Lorando Johnson, the CB, not Max, the QB. My apologies to those who have been confused and perturbed by this, though it was not me that stated it. Perhaps in the future a little closer reading is recommended to avoid this issue from reoccurring. God bless and happy Turkey to all a good night and may pleasantries be abundant this holiday season
