I don't see many wanting to process him. I know it's high school but he looks like a left handed Burrow in his film. The way he scrambles and improvises in the pocket then throws a strike downfield looks just like him. I look forward to seeing him compete.

Nice highlights. But one can never get a sense of a quaterback’s accuracy from highlight films because they only show the good throws and even bad quarterbacks have good throws. He looks good though.

Yeah it's hard to judge QBs on highlights alone. If a player doesn't look good in his highlight tape then they're doing it wrong.

QB highlights are particularly tricky. Lowell Narcisse looked legit in his highlights. So did Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings. LSU has had some great highlight tape QBs come through there.

True but his last game was a playoff game and he was 19-22(86%). That is pretty dang accurate.

Right plus his offer list tells you nothing right?

I trust your skepticism over those offers.

He was 19-22 in his last playoff game for 255.. u need to go watch the video of him at the LSU camp this summer.. his improvement in accuracy was mentioned by the coaches.. he has everything u would want in a high school senior QB..glad we got him

Not to poop on the Ponchatoula QB, but I think Max will be better. TJ is more of a project with a big arm, imo

But no development of those QBs. And that is a fact. What QB was successful under Miles that wasn't a transfer who was initially developed elsewhere or on the team and developed initially before Miles arrived? Do you think Dak Prescott would have been developed under Les Miles who initially wanted him as a tight end? I highly doubt it. He wouldn't be in the NFL now. Yet, we still have those who will denigrate the numerous 4 star QBs who became Tigers under Miles.

Give those same QBs to Jimbo Fisher, Dan Mullins or Clemson and their success would improve dramatically because of what was missing under Les Miles, QB development. Jimbo would have done wonders with the raw talent of Brandon Harris. I would have liked to see Narcisse developed under Mullins.

Max isn’t going anywhere. He is a greasy prospect and fits perfectly with what Brady wants to do.

So he is the time traveler! That could really be beneficial too. He and interception or lose... he just goes back until he gets it right.

If I had to chose only one, I'd keep Johnson.
