Would definitely be an interesting move...
Someone on the on3 boards said he was ready to flip right after Curne committed (how much truth there is to that, no idea).
But all the more reason to double down on some OL flips.

Surprising Kiffin is willing to spend a bunch of money on a high school kid instead of the portal. I still find it hard to believe he’s coaching there next year. They’ll have to replace just about their entire starting 22 and Lane doesn’t stay at any school long.

It's not that bad of a loss considering we still have good olinemen committed, the good oline haul we got last cycle, and the really impressive instate talent available next cycle.

It seems like Harper is just caught in the moment. LSU is about to put two tackles in first round. It seems silly to flip to Ole Miss, but kids will do what they want.

Ole Miss and Kiffin are more appealing right now. They are most likely going to the playoffs. BK is a clown and the Bama loss is going to sting for a while.

I will say harper does get beat by speed rushers. Curne is the better prospect. I'd be worried if they lost him.
Problem is they need to replace harper if they lose him.
