These types of recruitments make recruiting absolutely exhausting. If there should ever be a slam dunk without drama it's this. A coach that's put so many guys into the league at a position we're rebuilding and its an instate guy.

Hopefully people just quit paying attention to HS recruiting and this will calm down some. These kids get a full on press for 3-4 years, change their mind 5 times just to transfer after they didn’t play in year 1. It’s quite literally the biggest waste of time imaginable.

WTF does this even mean?

So LSU was telling you what you want to hear and sucking you off.

But FSU was telling you what you didn’t want to hear and not sucking you off?

Theses kids are worse than a nagging wife.

You want to hear you are the best. But then you don’t want that.

JFC how these coaches put up with kissing and stroking the egos of 16-17 yr old kids off is beyond me

Honestly, what matters is the roster you have at the start of summer training each year now. It’s so sad that you can’t be excited because of the endless transfers/watch development of players.

They get paid very handsomely to stroke those egos. But I agree with your sentiment.

Look, we would all probably have a diva attitude if we were in Jaboree's position at that age.

The way I have BLED P&G though since around age 8, I've always said that if I was a top 50 fb player, I would commit to LSU immediately and never even entertain anyone else.

But if you throw in paid red carpet trips with the free bjs included, it might cause you to explore your options a bit.

If he doesn’t look at the LSU depth chart at DB and see an opportunity then he’s blind.

Yeah that's all I'm focused on at the moment. Whoever shows up are considering the Tigers and those that don't well kinda tells you.

It is. Common theme with LA DBs and LSU. Perception points to LSU feeling these kids should be thankful for the privilege of continuing DBU as a LA kid. Not to say that's true but we've had a few pull the same stunt over feeling prioritized. Stingley most famously. It seems as though Antoine is following that one to the tee. Assuming we reel him back in which most everyone on LSUs side thinks will happen.
As for the quotes in the article, wouldn't take those seriously. Framed questions enticing predictable answers by the greatest grifter, and framer, in the business, Mr Wiltfong. He's either intentionally going TMZ reporting every rumor in air as a big deal or he's getting owned this year. Kaliq Lockett has had him running in circles for a month plus now(Texas then LSU then Texas then Bama then FSU but predicts Texas. All since ON3 elite)). Regardless, he does his job which is to drive clicks. But he no doubt frames interviews to entice certain answers and then responses from fan message boards. Driving content network wide. Not hating but i just don't buy his reporting like I once did. All the "greats" in this business have eventually fallen on the same sword.

He is replaceable.

I don't care if he leaves the state as long as you replace him with a comparable player.

This is recruiting talk for “I really liked the people who talked to me I thought they were cooler than people from other schools.”

Why should anyone? Majority of them are insufferable and need to be sent to military camps

That's a double-edged blade because coaches are also paid enough to walk away at a young age.

You seem to mistake that I care. I don’t follow recruiting and I’m not just talking about athletes either.
