Highly unlikely. Why would we pay him a bunch of money when we have a good QB who just had a strong first start and Underwood committed, who likely commanded a lot more?
Also, if that was going to happen, it would have been during the first period to get him here for Spring. He would have little shot to win the job coming in late and only having Fall Camp.

I remember when several people were freaking out over the cryptic posts about Weeks after he missed a few games. But if you listened to interviews with him before the bowl game, it was clear he’s ALL LSU. He said he literally had no clue what he was doing in the scheme and Penn had to tell him where to line up and what to do. All of that makes me very happy the House is gone now.
