Can't keep relying on the portal every year hoping it works perfectly as planned. It's just not feasible that success can be maintained that way. It's meant to be supplemental not the heartbeat of the program.
Not overly concerned with these 2 yet, especially not as it concerns Texas. They always talk big. The year before all the talk has to be backed up. It's gonna be insufferable if they can manage to win more than 8 games this year

I've always said they have to finish with all the big lousiana guys plus some.

Definitely have not heard that we are losing either. Not sure where their confidence is coming from.

We both agree they need to step it up. Seems like all teams are getting commits our I'd these big elite events.

Campbell, Wiggins, Howard, Jones, Welch, Heard, Sampson, Jackson, other Jackson, Adams, Holly, Prean, Green, Cobbins, McBryde, Johnson & Rogers are all 4 & 5 star guys that Kelly has landed in state all while rebuilding a shitehouse left by Orgeron. Stop melting and let things play out.

Seems to me like Texas is blowing their load too early... save those officials for the season.
Even if they land "commitments", nothing is ever official until they put pen to paper (see: Perkins, Harold).
We'll be in it for Simmons, Black, Bussey, McKinley, Mack, January and others that have taken OVs to other schools right until the end.
Also don't doubt CBK's ability to close...

They’re loading up on SEC caliber players. They were very close to beating bama last year as well.
Some of y’all need to get out of this denial and realize that recruiting is the lifeblood of a program, and not competing for the top ones will haunt us if we don’t get it together
