If you want an expensive car for yourself and your mama, you go to Texas. If you want an expensive car for yourself, be developed into an NFL starter, and win a few championships you come to LSU.

McKinley has a tremendous upside, but the reality is college OL will dominate him if he doesn't learn proper technique and how to use his hands to help get OL off of him. It's one thing to dominate at the HS level, but a totally different animal in college, especially in the SEC!

I still feel good about LSU finishing top 10 and expect a really good year on the field as well. I made my bet with you because you're a troll and you only post bullshite

Top 10?
Means like 5 of 6 SEC schools alone would be ahead of us.

Top10 isn't bad at all. I mean the state is little down this year but we will be fine. Seems like the staff isn't just chasing players that only want a bag or players that may not fit in at LSU. Those type player could cause locker room problem (Aggies), transfer after 1 year, or waste of time recruiting only to go to highest bidder. Trust the process also we don't have to reach anymore they can grab players in positions we miss on from portal that want to be here.

Aggies had that CRAZY #1 class and didn't amount to crap but alot of Ls.

I hope so but damn recruiting over the years has never lied.
Not panicking but we need some high end players.

I trust this staff and hopefully the players start coming in.

I mean I want us to finish Top 5 also and know it would probably be better if we did. The landscape of recruiting is just little different with teams throwing bags that haven't did anything on field in years. I believe NIL will correct itself because of schools throwing bags have to perform. If not, those boosters will be pissed and that bag gets smaller.

Seems like alot of schools trying to have these Big Festival type recruitment weekends flash cars and glits & glamour during summer will all these commitments hold up come sign day? We will see those that start losing I believe will have decommitments I feel.

We have short memories. The greatest team in collegiate football history was our own, Fighting Tigers of 2019! That teams leader was obviously Joe Burrow, a transfer along with several other transfers, Moss and Damian Lewis come to mind. Jetts Jefferson, Clyde Helair both 3 star players. Take a look at that roster, it was not littered with 5 star players but had character, leadership and excellent coaching, Aranda, Ensminger and Joe Brady, coach O was the rahrah guy.
If it was just 5 star players that make a great team then the gumps would never lose a game. Character, leadership, experience, great coaching and good players sprinkled with a few great players wins championships. Coach BK will get us there.

If you land a top 10 recruiting class, your team loaded up on talent. The dark side of recruiting rankings is that those rankings mean very little now since NIL has come into the picture. It's great for headlines, but with NIL, every team's roster could be raided at anytime.

I expect us to land a Top 10 class. This just a down year in state for Top 3 Class. Again! We will be fine and still a great class.

That team also had ten 5 star recruits

21 top 100 players

13 top 50 players on the roster when recruited.

We won’t be getting any top 3 classes anymore. Unless something changes, we aren’t going to have classes like UGA, Bama, Ohio St, Texas, A&M etc. I think folks know this already, but will try to sugarcoat it.

The elite programs don’t have up and down years on the recruiting trail. They’re consistently in the top 5 every year no matter what.

Georgia, Bama, Ohio St, Michigan, LSU

Usually always in top 5.

Clemson is usually around 7.

Top recruiting teams almost always are the top teams
Not always but almost always.

Top 5 classes for LSU will obviously depend largely on the in state talent level in a given year. BK and staff are minimizing LSUs recruiting roller coaster by securing key out of state OL/DL talent….BK and Frank will hold on to the instate skill position athletes they covet and supplement voids via portal

The teams you named (except lsu)are all consistent programs that have a head coach that has been there for over 2+yrs and they all win 11 to 10 games a year over the last 5 years... lsu brought Brian Kelly to get lsu to the level of consistency of those programs mentioned. Give the man time
