No doubt the facts of his case are different, but the SEC statement still applies to his case.

Do you have a copy of that statement? The only thing that I've seen is that the NCAA is only obeying the current court orders for the specific players covered under active injunctions and TROs, I have not seen anything indicating an NCAA wide pause of the rule.

If tweet fails to load, click here.It’s not an NCAA pause. The statement was the SEC is going to comply with the existing injunctions and other court orders related to eligibility of players. Stated differently, the SEC is not going to implement its own eligibility requirements when there are court orders already in place. This would apply to RJ because there is an existing injunction in place that he is eligible. Under the new policy adopted by the SEC this week, RJ would be ineligible. The league is now saying that it will comply with existing injunctions against the NCAA without the requirement that RJ name the SEC as a party.

Good point. Have not read the Luis order. My assumption is getting an amended Order will not be difficult. It’s the same thing Tony Clayton did in the football case pending in EBR.
