David Cornwell - No.1 Recruit in Oklahoma. Went to school damn near on Oklahoma's campus

Tim Williams - No.3 recruit in Louisiana. Went to high school on LSU's campus

Reuben Foster - No. 1 recruit in Alabama. Went to Auburn High School.

Rashann Evans - No. 2 recruit in Alabama. Went to Auburn High School.

Dylan Moses on his way after growing up on LSU's campus.

And we are supposed to pull for Alabama because it's the SEC?

After 2011, we don't pull for Alabama in title games

It's over as far as I am concerned...

Any other SEC school I may pull for in the big game, but never Alabama again for as long as I live.

17 titles is enough...I have had to live through most of them...

A bama win = just more ammo for the emperor...

SEC brotherhood thing is over. That's so 10 years ago. It's war now in the SEC. Leave the brotherhood thing for little brother ACC; they seem to need that affirmation during bowl season.

I can't force myself to root for Auburn, Alabama, or Florida. I just can't.

There are only two times I would root for a non-LSU team in the national championship game.
1. If Bama is playing, then I'll root for their opponent.
2. I'll root for Tennessee since Bama hates Tennesee.

In fairness, it made more sense years ago when SOS and conference prestige had more of an impact on which teams played in the championship game and when the top teams were on more of an even playing field.

The "SEC! SEC!" thing was at its peak around 2003-2008. After the USC/LSU bullshite in 03 followed by Auburn getting left out in 2004 it was sweet watching the SEC run from 2006-2010 against the media who loved the Pac12 and Big 10

However, what was an SEC streak quickly became a state of Alabama/Crimson Tide streak, which directly hurts LSU in recruiting.

frick em all, I enjoy watching Arkansas, A&M, Auburn and (hopefully) Alabama lose their bowl games. The more embarrassing, the better.

I don't care what anybody says, Alabama winning anything is not good for LSU. The first time you can prove to me that we got a stud recruit because Alabama just won another national title, then maybe i'll start to think otherwise.

I have been off that pull for the SEC BS for quite sometime now. Preaching to the choir. Go Clemson.

Yeah I never understood rooting for other SEC teams. It all comes down to recruiting. bama winning National Championships does nothing to help LSU in recruiting. They are in dynasty mode right now and how any LSU fan could root for them is beyond me.

It's a simple equation that applies to everything:

Bad for bama = Good for LSU

Nothing good will come from bama winning it all again. No recruit is going to watch and say, "bama won it all again! They have the best Coach in history. Wow. Makes me want to go to LSU!"
