This kid don't run a 4.8 forty, if he does the teams he faced must not have a kid that can run under a 5.0. because he outruns them.

Something else I like about this kid is he rarely goes to the ground it takes 3 or 4 guys to stop him. He blows up a bunch of one on one tacklers.

Actually, I trust the coaches in their evaluations. Maybe 247 is just trying to hide him!

Also funny here is his first page offer list on 247 is not very impressive but when you open up the complete list it looks much better.

We’ll know tomorrow!

Compare Kiner to Clemson’s Will Shipley, the #1 All Purpose Back

Kiner is 5’10 205 sub 4.5
Shipley at 5’11 198 sub 4.5

Similar yardage production

I don’t think you guys realize how many high school kids come in running true 4.7 & 4.8 40 times

That is blazing fast for most 17yr old underdeveloped football players, and is a great starting point to br molded into professional players once they get to campus

People were still bringing up Justin Jefferson's HS 40 time as a knock against him like EARLIER THIS YEAR

Right?

Perfect example of what a college S&C program can do.

There are more shitty high school weight programs than there are good ones

His tape is good, very happy if he picks the good guys. If he can catch, like CEH, he’ll be very comparable back. His game speed is evident, esp on Special Teams. His lateral quickness is impressive, like Clyde’s( miss you in a phone booth) ability....Looks perfect for the Offense we ran this year...

He must have "receivers hands", he returns punts. You can't be a returner if you don't have sure hands.

Finally watched his highlights. Not only is speed not a concern but he actually looks really fast. I don't think I saw him get caught from behind a single time and he outran angles on nearly every long run. I'm excited and hope he is a Tiger tomorrow. I'd be shocked if he doesn't shoot up the rankings, especially on 247.

Justin Jefferson ran a 4.8 40 his senior year of HS and 3 years later ran a 4.4 at the combine. Kids mature differently.

His running style reminds me more of Curry than CEH, but probably faster. Former Tigers would be Spencer Ware and Steven Ridley. He's probably a step faster than those two as well. He looks like a 1-cut...power guy that also has another gear in space. He's definitely in our RB mold of looking for contact! Him and Wheatley would be a RB class that ranks up there with some of our best. Wheatley is sick!

Camar Wheaton (Dallas Area Best RB) and Corey Kiner (Cincinnati) are ranked #2 & #10 nationally respectively.

our competitors for his signature are Cincinnati and Lousiville. Hopefully, we get him.

Damn this guy is legit. Long legs make him look like he isn’t running as fast as he really is.

Should be a very high four star.

If he joins LSU then the 2021 backfield may be the nastiest in LSU history.

That's very similar position rankings that Emery/TDP had coming out.

You’re getting another good one from Ohio. Take care of him.

that's what I'm seeing also. More in the mold of a Spencer Ware, or even Curry, but with more speed. Closer to Fournette than CEH.

that article kind of kills the myth that he is slow. Anyone who watched his highlight video should have known that. NO doubt not a true 4.44 but he sure isn't a 4.7 either. Article says he's the 100m sprinter on the schools track team. Slow players generally aren't the 100m man on their school track team.
