Committing Somewhere Monday!

LSU is 50/50

Corey Kiner 4-Star (.93 av)

Analyst says We Got Him

Kiner runs a 4.44 forty with CEH - Like shiftiness

Is this kid a feature back talent, or depth?

More likely to be a rotational back but he could turn into something special, like Clyde did.

If he is a 4.76 guy then the rest of those players must be 5.0 or worse. He outran most players by a distance. I wonder how much he improves his real forty time over the next year or two.

Some of you all really do not read... His 40 time was from 2 years ago. 247 has not done their homework on him since and others have. This is why he is rated so high in other sites.

Does the internet have a limit on how many posts it can handle?

Maybe PokeyTiger just wanted his moment. Nothing wrong with that.

Pokey, you do you.

If he picks up the blocking scheme he could easily be a featured back with his frame. He's a smart kid, so learning his assignments shouldn't be that hard.

of course they offer him because they think he can be a feature back. You don't sign players with the idea that all they will ever be is depth.

probably will, as most college players improve their 40ty time. But he looks to have a pretty fast top gear right now. Speed doesnt seem to be an issue for him.

This kid don't run a 4.8 forty, if he does the teams he faced must not have a kid that can run under a 5.0. because he outruns them.

Something else I like about this kid is he rarely goes to the ground it takes 3 or 4 guys to stop him. He blows up a bunch of one on one tacklers.

Most overrated measurable in sports. What's his 10 yard split? For a RB that's all that matters. CEH wasn't winning footraces but 10 and in he was fricking deadly.

I don’t think you guys realize how many high school kids come in running true 4.7 & 4.8 40 times

That is blazing fast for most 17yr old underdeveloped football players, and is a great starting point to br molded into professional players once they get to campus

Play speed is better than timed or measured speed at this point. Has done well as a return man as well at the high school level. Must continue to work on his top end speed and polish pass-catching skills, but projects as a productive, starting back at the Power Five level and someone who will have an opportunity to play beyond college.

Good Kid 3.2 GPA

He is an early 2020 Ohio Mr. Football candidate.
