Echols was a RS Fr playing high sec football with a horrible offensive scheme and coaches…SHOCKING HE STRUGGLED! He also showed many flashes. This one sucks because this guy will be good. He was way better than Mubenga and has loads of upside

Im starting to share the same sentiment on some of these points. I was looking at our recruiting class a few mins ago. I knew we had a strong class even only having 14 guys. What I didn't know is how little we took compared to everyone else. It took me over 50 classes to find a class with less than 14

And just so you know we have to have bodies. So, the more we have to spend on the OL the less we have to spend it in other areas we need dumbass. Echols actually played decent. He has talent to play here.

He gives credit and reference the entire football staff but specifically names: Coach Brian Kelly, Coach Frank Wilson, Coach Brad Davis. ??

To be fair, after watching Weston Davis this season, I'm not positive the best oline coach in history could turn him into an even average SEC guy

We need a big overhaul in this room. Coaching, mentality, weight room, and guys who put their hand down ready to hurt someone’s feelings. If these guys wanna leave it’s all good.

Coaching can make a world of difference & I agree with the poster pointing out we need bodies.
I trust Baker and Kiffin, but to be clear we realistically need to hit somewhere between 25-30 guys in the transfer portal.
I’m confident we’ll fill the spots, but the quality is going to depend on who all is even available to start with. Will be an interesting offseason.

Do you think Curne and Echols money just disappears? It just gets routed to someone else in the portal adding to the already large pot. They'll be fine.
