Agreed. Should be this way for all sports teams. That way they aren’t overcompensated for multiple years with the existing contracts, however, they would still be paid fairly.
I would never pay a coach that well in base salary. Pay them a fair salary for a top five program then give them contractual incentives so they can make themselves the best paid coach in the nation…by winning.

For the 2 days I was there for their send off, it was about 3 hours before game time when they left. Get there 3 1/2 hours before. I’m assuming they are still at the Embassy Suites.

Not my experience with the box office. I paid $75 each for standing room tickets for the Saturday night game. Seems like they make up the prices as they go. Can’t find any prices from the box office online and if you call them, you will get different answers from different people, like “it will likely cost between $40 - $60 per ticket “.

Came straight to Barrett’s when I got off the plane today. Half this place is LSU and the other half is local. Ran out of one of their local beers already. Looks like we’re already making a dent. I can also say the pork tenderloin sandwich is really good but you can only get it today while it lasts or next Thursday/Friday.

Tried to set price alerts on Ticketmaster, Seat Geek and StubHub but it doesn’t seem like that option is available any longer on any of those apps.
