Hurd is not a saturday guy dude. You're crazy his stuff has always been ace stuff it was just a matter of consistency for him. I would like us to get 1 more big arm though. If LSU has 1,2,3 starter next year will be huge.

Don't forget about Justin Loer from Xavier coming in. He will compete for a weekend spot. If he doesn't win a spot in the rotation, he will be a big time reliever for next years team.

Not to mention Coleman, Herring, and possibly some incoming freshman like Jake Brown.

LSU is a couple key players away in the portal from being an even bigger threat at back to back.

As insane as it sounds, LSU's staff has a chance to be even better next year. We should be able to attract a top tier pitching coach with the talent we have on the staff.

Not as up on our pitching situation as others on here, but wondering about the injured guys this year like Shores, Edwards (and was there another?). Where do they fit in next year?

I don’t think Burns comes but I would be ok with a rotation of Hurd, Tolle, Loer

Edwards is draft eligible so he might not pitch for LSU again. Shores will depend on how his recovery goes but I doubt he will be ready for next year. Maybe can get a few innings at the end but i would not count on much.

The other one is Grant Taylor who should be good to go for next season but he is also draft eligible this year so will depend on how that goes.

Noot is another guy that was hurt, no idea about his status. I don't think i ever heard what the injury was

i dont like his over the top reactions every time and he seems like he's in it for himself.

he's a good arm, but he belongs in Knoxville

No need to etch in stone next year’s pitching rotation now Those positions will be earned as time goes on.

Payton Tolle. Big lefty pitcher from Witchita State. Had a 4.62 era this past year as a sophomore but he’s very highly thought of. Throws about 88-91 but had a good K/walk rate. Also is a two way player that hit .311 and 13 homers. Numbers may not seem crazy but even Kendall Rogers called him a super star. Would be a big pickup

I agree but if this year has showed us anything it’s you can never have enough good arms. Our pitching stepped up for us in the post season but before that it wasn’t a sure thing getting back to Omaha with some of those pitching performances late in the season

Why in the hell would you play for TCU when you can play for the national champion LSU and get back to the CWS? JJ go clear this up, he would be a great addition to LSU.

Because TCU offers a better resume stats wise as well as an easier path to the CWS vs the gauntlet that is the SEC

how is TCU an easier path to Omaha? You can finish in the top 9-10 of the SEC and make it into a regional and then then it's all about the draw truthfully. TCU had to go through Fayetteville to get there this year. This isn't football.

That is soft as shite if true. Leave the SEC to go pad stats against a horrible B12?
