If we want Caleb we are going to have to prove at the beginning of next season that we are still running the offense that Brady laid the blueprint for. I believe in our coaching staff and I think we can close this deal.

LSU is going to need to have their QB for 2021 locked up before then. If you're waiting until the fall, the big names will be off of the board.

Huh???????? Rattler got redshirted this season and so will be a RS FR. He was the most impressive QB in the HS all star gameS of 2018 season even though he only played in 1 obviously. Also, your September of course would be 2021, not this September. Rattler will most likely be starting at OU the next 2 seasons.

They are still going to accept 2 more transfers at QB before he enrolls.

If Williams wants to win a NC why would he go outside the SEC. Oklahoma had two consecutive Heisman Trophy winners and a runners up and could not make it to the championship finals.

So two out of 7 have so far proved to be something less than great.

LSU has a lot of history to over come.

Williams looks very good.. but passing accuracy, processing and decision making are far more important in this offense than running.

IMO LSU is not going to win championships with a QB that runs the ball as a primary skill.

Tua and Burrow ran when they had two.

Well...if Brennan really pans out, CW may not have to sit a year at all...

Don't freak out about these CBs. They likely have very little to do with actual information and more to do with experts just moving their picks off of Georgia, now that Vandagriff committed to them.

Williams has gotten 3 new CBs in the last couple of days. 1 was for Oklahoma and the other 2 appear to either be Undecided or LSU (I think undecided for both, but I'm not 100%).

The OU one is definitely a concern. Riley develops QBs better then anyone. Their scheme is phenomenal.

Not if it's not based on any actual information.

I'm not trying to suggest that Oklahoma won't be a factor for Williams. I'm just saying that these 3 latest crystal balls are unlikely to be based on any information other than Georgia just got a 2021 QB commitment and the 247 guys know that Williams will not be going there now.

Oklahoma?? Why Oklahoma? I’ll bet that if LSU played Oklahoma we beat them by at least 63 - 28. Oh wait, never mind......

Then why does he seem to have to take transfers instead of playing the High Schoolers he signs?

LSU just needs to show Caleb that the offense can be just as good without Joe Brady in the booth.

Its pretty meh to be honest. It’s just another case of a team padding stats against other teams that don’t recruit near your level. Our old offense looked dominanting against teams like western Kentucky.

I mean who caree. That “stat-padding” led to Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray winning the Heisman and ultimately being selected #1 in the draft.

Back to back #1 picks. Improved Jalen Hurts' stock. Rattler will be good, I'm sure.

Caleb can get stats and a Heisman, and go #1..

Without needing to get humiliated in the CFP Semis, nor spend four years playing in Lawrence, Lubbock, Ames, etc..

At 11 AM in Texas High School sized stadiums on Fox games that are on the tv to the far side of the sports bar, while the 100 inch main screen is dedicated to the SEC game of the week.
