Recruiting doesn’t end until December at the early period. We will be battling for him all the way until that point which will be all the way through the season. I wouldn’t say a verbal commit is locking someone up.

Riley develops QBs better then anyone. Their scheme is phenomenal.

Name them.
Mayfield, Murray, and Hurt were developed prior to enrolling at Oklahoma.

Well said Gus, I second that scheme, great against Kansas, TexTech,——- Alabama, Clemson, and OUR TIGAHS not so much, besides Spencer will start and be very productive in Oklahoma, CW will not be able to think he just takes his job, once Spencer puts up big numbers and improves throughout the year as RSFR

Maryland is definitely in the hunt for Williams and will be a player till the end. Lots of pull to keep the kid home(including the hs coaching staff there)

Haha yeah definitely... So developed that they couldn't start at their previous program. You're so unbelievably naive if you actually think Riley doesn't develop QBs at an extremely high level.

If Maryland could get Jarrett, then dont be surprised when they get Williams. Its a long ways to go before the next ESD.

Personally, I could care less if we get him because Max Johnson is here for the next 3-4 seasons.

First of all, it's couldn't care less.

Second, Maryland has had good WRs before, several in fact. Their QBs have been complete garbage. The last half decent QB they've had was Danny O'Brian back in 2010. After that year he turned to complete shite. Prior to that, they haven't had another good QB since 1994. Locksley hasn't proven anything and hasn't coached up anybody.

I really like Max Johnson myself, I think he could do exceptional in a similar offense to what we were running, but I think Caleb Williams is Russell Wilson part 2.

Maryland seems to have more of a DeMatha pipeline in the DC area. The best Gonzaga kids tend to look for broader horizons, (eg, ACC, other Big 10, beyond), often better academics (eg., Stanford, UVA, Notre Dame, etc).

If Brennan throw for 4000 yards and 40 td’s without Brady he might now be at LSU another year.

If we miss on Caleb, we’ve got Myles for 2 years (or if he lights it up, one and gone to the NFL with Max Johnson starting a year), and then true freshman Arch Manning takes over in 2022.

Future looks really bright at QB.

I'm looking forward to Myles Brennan but we absolutely *need* to land an elite QB (Williams or Manning).

You know manning is a sophomore next year right?

Kinda weird listing a senior and a sophomore being that they are years apart.
