No it doesn’t some of you are insufferable
I bet you are the same people that said JD would never be good
I trust BK and his evals of recruit and coaches way better than any of you.
Many of don’t even know ball, you just watch it and think that qualifies you to talk about it

So I can put some credence into that.
Frank is more of a “Dog” Catcher than polian was.
I think frank is recruiting guys like we had before. Jamal, Landry, Ward, Chad Jones etc.
I want guys that saw that hit on JD and want to even the score.
We were put a tough spot with Harris and chestnut not working out. There was a risk there. But moving forward, frank wants us to get back to the “dog” days.
Combine those defenses with our offense and we are fighting for the playoffs.

Well, except for the huge supposition that Frank Wilson actually got to choose between Woodland/Causey/Evans/Bates, dismissing the possibility that Evans and Bates were no longer options.
Also, regarding his assertion that Florida didn't want Bates, it's a pretty big stretch to use the On3 RPM percentages to indicate how hard teams are recruiting kids.

Having gone to a game I don't agree with the coverage narrative being pushed. He was trying to bait the QB to throw to his receiver for most the game and did get a few pass breakups. But he did shy away from tackling a few times. Hard to say "not physical" as he pulled up and didn't really put his nose in there to see but that lack of "want to" was disappointing. One can argue I guess thats not being physical but hard to say if thats how he will be in college he might just have been trying to protect himself from getting injured.

Maybe so man. I just know what shea has been saying and I’d assume he gets some information from someone close to the program. The coaches apparently haven’t liked what they’ve seen from Bates this fall

I definitely agree the staff backed off and I can understand not liking what they see but my point is what they don't like isn't having to do with his coverage ability its his attitude, effort, and "want to."

Bates is not a corner. He could be a good safety but hes going to have to learn how to tackle first
