He really becomes important. If he is the new center, a lot of other pieces work on OL.
If OL works, all these WRs become better performers.

Definitely huge need but I think we will still need to pick up at least one more quality starting OL and maybe two. Get a guy or two with experience that doesn’t have an ego locked to T but that has the ability to be a T or G in the SEC and let them all compete and put the best five where they fit.

not quite...

we still need another TE, at least 1 S, and would like to see a DT and OT added as well... so, Moore plus 4 more additions and we can put a bow on it

we need anyone that can supplant Chester at C... it's clear he's not the answer at that position and needs to slide to G, at the least

One more would be great, but I don’t think we will see a third OL unless some guys disappoint in Spring. Expect Adams and Davis to get every opportunity to start at Tackle, but they will have a couple of young guys already pushing them. I expect Curne to get a real shot to start as an EE after Kelly’s comments about him. It sounds like the staff expects him to start.

One more experienced guy who can either push or beat Chester and Mubenga for the other Guard spot would be very beneficial. That would give us multiple guys legitimately competing for every spot across the OL.

Don't see TE as high of a priority as safety and Oline. Green goes back to TE with the WR room we have now, and the OK transfer is very good, and just signed LeFleur's kid out of hs.

Gotta think one of the incoming CBs, probably Delane bumps to safety. Spears is your other safety. Fill in from there.

Info on OL Braelin Moore from Va Tech. Center 6'3" 303 lbs. 2 years eligibility remaining. Kelly and other coaches contacted Moore the day he entered the portal.
He started all 24 games at Center for VT the past 2 years. Played mostly Center but has played OG too. He is an All American. He didn't allow a sack last year. He was part of OL that had 2,300 rushing in 2024, avg 5 yds/carry, 187 yds/game. And 2,600 rushing in 2023, avg 5 yds/carry, 190 yds/game. He played next to his brother who is Sr OG and graduating. Moore would be a quality pickup and Day 1 starter.

All indications yes, if he hasn't already done so. Several NFL draft sites, ON3, 247sports, and VT message boards have said LSU. They are all saying when, and not if.
