Yesterday I got a strange feeling that Fonua would be in this class.
I am glad he is in this class. Welcome aboard.

Oh, is this that dude that had the picture from like 4-5 years ago?
Hopefully recruiting sites have updated it by now. (I haven’t checked any links)

Need to rush the passer better.
Just means the pipe dream of 3/3 DL is out.
2/3 is the hope and still on the table.
Glad they didn’t dick around with Fonua.
Best guess now is Sopsher (if buzz is true) and either Moore, Young, or Randolph will finish the class.

Who's the genius decked out in OSU gear?

Welcome, welcome, welcome! This guy could be a beast for us! Way to go O!

I think that’s from his OSU visit

Then why is he throwing up the L? Dude is confused.

Good point. That is weird. It’s LSU.

How many years of eligibility does he have? What year did he come out of HS? I can't find his original 247 page.

Another SLC guy like Ika.
Curious is he projects to ILB in any case... He would be huge for ILB but looks like he has the motor for it.

In his highlights he was tackling people 20 yards down the field, meaning he doesn't give up on plays. Very high motor.

That hand sign represents many different things other than Louisiana or LSU. That one pic is from his Okie St. visit.

How good is this kid and how many years does he have? Also this means that we probably will get to 24 or 25. I think we with Hamton and Fanua Signing, then Williams, Lee, Sop, we all get which puts us at 24. We either flip Young for 25, if that doesn’t happen we take Garman Randolph.
ETA: Class just jumped from 8 to 6 with this commitment alone.

May be a dumb question but I’ll ask anyway - at 6’4”, 264, he seems like more of a tweener. Is he projected at DE or OLB? Thanks

I would say OLB. Just because the way our defense is set up our DE’s tend to be bigger guys, and OLB’s have more opportunities to rush the passer. That’s his speciality along with his motor. He has some strong potential here. I would keep him where he is, for his speed, and motor. Don’t want him adding 30 pounds to play DE.
