LSU now up to 92 scholarship players.

94, I believe. 94 includes Taylor and Ingram who are technically still on the team and are probably going to be back this summer.

He was #386 at point, then started to fade the last year or so.

I bet this kid was put on the 400 just because he was good at the 100 and 200. Might have been his first time ever running it. Seriously.

And if he runs a 22 second 200 meters, he isn’t running his second 200m in 36 seconds unless he broke his leg or got distracted and started chasing a squirrel

Yeah I manually counted from the roster this morning and there are 92 now. 94 with Ingram and Taylor, if that works out.

400 is one of the hardest races to run. Need to basically sprint the entire length of the track. If you don’t train to do it ......forget about it. Hell, even those that do train for it feel like they are about to die when they finish it.!Pretty meaningless for what he will be asked to do.

6'2" isn't that good of a high jump even for high school standards.

Most state level guys are jumping 6'5" and up. shite, two guys from my district were doing 6'7" and I'm coming in third at 6'0"

58 seconds is straight donkey arse in the 400m

Yeah. 58 seconds is slow for that kind of athlete.

It’s a brutal race if you are trying your hardest. I puked after my first 400, and that’s the only athletic activity that I can say that about. I think three of us actually puked that day, and no one did that for anything else.

I didn’t have an 11.1 by any means but there was a huge variance on my 100 and 400 considering my complete lack of background at the time.

Could be a huge get if he is capable of putting on an additional 20-30 lbs while not sacrificing too much speed. Will be excited to see where he is at weight wise come Aug.

I’m not saying it was a great height. He didn’t make state. I am saying that it’s a better height clearance than some guys in the NFL who did high school track and field who came from small and/or poor public schools and got little training.

Arden Key with a good head on his shoulders is what we should be hoping for here.
