Might end up as an OLB in a pass rush package.

Also Mingo’s main sport was track. This kid is a football player that’s decent at track.

48 would be stupid fast like Mingo and state title level in highest classifications.

Maybe it was an old time or something.

Yeah it’s possible. I’m not even saying that’s bad considering his 100, and 200 times. I just am genuinely curious about that.

There is no way he runs a 58 second 400 meters. No fricking way that dude would have been one of the slowest players on the tennis team at the 400

That time is clearly a mistake

Everyone on a 7th grade track team was running 55 seconds? bullshite. In 8th grade, they had everyone try out 12 events in gym class, from the 100 to the pole vault. The high school I graduated from has won something like 18 of the last 20 state titles. The fastest kid in the class ran 62 seconds and the coach was thrilled. He said he would make a great runner in 2 years.

Three kids went on to play some form of D-1 sport from that class.

Now that I’m thinking that was bad memory from me. It was 58 seconds though I want to say.

That 400 seems weird

Not so weird really...not great of course. The size of that monkey at about 300m is no f’ng joke. Open quarter is a mean nasty unforgiving bitch.

Football field is 100yds...I’ll take a phenominal 11.1 in an athlete his size. All day, erry day.

I have a feeling it's meant to be 48 seconds. Which would correlate perfectly to the other times.

Look man, I'm telling you that short white guys who weren't sprinters ran that at my HS. And they certainly can't run 11.1 in the 100m.

It's a misprint. Or an old time.

I'm pumped to have him, he seems like a stellar athlete with a big upside as an OLB/DE hybrid.

Gonna have some serious work to get to 85.

Most of these guys get absolutely no coaching in high school track. One of my friends High jumped 6’2”, a very solid height but nothing spectacular. That is higher than multiple NFL skill players. Is that because my friend is a world class athlete? Of course not. It’s because he received some coaching and actually trained.

I bet this kid was put on the 400 just because he was good at the 100 and 200. Might have been his first time ever running it. Seriously.
