Why is LSU not recruiting Barry Remo? #141 rated player by ON3 ratings, not a great rating but still pretty solid. Or is there a better RB in Louisiana in the 2024 class?

He's the #141 running back and #52 player in LA on the On3 rankings, not the #141 player overall.

Maybe they're not as worried about a 2024 RB because there are 75 top tier RBs in the 2025 class in the LA alone.

He has zero offers, not even Southern, SELA, or Nicholls. The better question is why is no one recruiting him and why does only one scouting service rank him at all?

Is he not the #1 rated RB in Louisiana? Cant go wrong with the #1 RB in Louisiana.

Steven Blanco is the best 2024 RB in Louisiana. Cajuns commit from St Martinville who rushed for over 2,000 yards last year.

He isn’t ranked and his profile isn’t up to date. Wiltfong took care of the Cajuns when Napier was there. Ranked Kyren Lacy four stars and personally wrote most of their commitment stories.

None of the services pay attention to the program much anymore.

Someone will probably pop this year. IMO we should be looking at Texas again, but this time Houston. Bigger back currently committed to Vanderbilt named Johann Cardenas

Fred Robertson of Warren Easton is up there with Blanco & Remo. He had a great year as a junior.

We are not recruiting 2 RB this cycle

If Durham wouldn’t have committed we would have taken 0

I know LSU isnt looking for another RB this class. I just find it interesting that there isnt even one highly rated RB in the entire state for the 2024 class. Some senior RB has to blow up somewhere in the state during the 2023 La high school season

BC we have 99 RB's in the room who are all talented and just at a verbal commitment from a top one in the nation.

Then the 2025 class is loaded.

Get out the caboose Willie that’s #141 Rb, that’s means in just about every single state there are 3 RBs better. I’m no star gazer but I’m no walk on sponsor either. I don’t think this recruiting thing is your forte.

Yea, Berry is RB in that class. My son made the 2nd all American team with him.

2025 could be a special class for us. Berry, Underwood, Moore, and Sanchez.

Berry is special. RB who plays FS…you know you don’t want that kid to hit you.

Out of boredom and curiosity I watched the highlights of that back you said, Johann Cardenas. We don't need another back this class but I like his highlights. He could be a valuable piece to an offense in a whole lot of ways. He could stay in and provide solid blocking and then slip out the back field for a short pass and also good hard running. Its easy to picture him being a asset in a lot of ways to LSUs offense. I wouldn't be upset at all if we spent a scholarship on him.
