This day in age every team will lose a good deal of players to the portal. This is a non story unless it’s a “good deal” of actual contributors.

This is just the norm now. Most schools will be having a decent amount of players entering the portal

Why is this seen as a bad thing? It’s gonna take a couple years to weed out the players who don’t fit the new culture. I’d be much more surprised if no one entered the portal vs 7-10 guys

Yeah this is a system barstool has where they designate a kid or two at each school to run their affiliate page. However if you follow the account, it’s total garbage. More knee jerk reactions and memes than anything. That being said, I fully expect LSU to lose players to the portal, but I feel strongly our net result will be a positive.

Probably to get out ahead of the freak out when players enter the portal and also the media that going off of last year’s offseason were latching on to any negative thing that was happening at LSU.

There are still likely players that haven’t truly bought in, aren’t contributing enough to keep their scholarship. It’s not a bad thing.
