There's a good number of TE's out there that can really come in and help.
Luke Hasz : Arky not as smooth as Taylor, but can put his hand on the ground and stand up.
Khamari Anserson: Big/Athletic; very good number 2 TE who ends up wide open if left in to block on most plays.
We need someone big and physical that can put their hand on the ground and move people, but are athletic enough to catch 1 pop a game b/c they'll be wide open. Here's two guys that went to competitive schools that just have size, and were good recruits coming out of HS.
Jerry Cross: Huge TE that never saw the field at Penn St. 6'5 265
Justin Wolf: Kansas St; 6'4 250

This is exactly what I was thinking. If they can’t land a big ( as in size ) WR, I’d really like to see them push Green to enhance his agility skills, speed and explosiveness and become that big target for LSU.

I think a lot of people thought he'd end up there. Saban would do the ole "I promise you a shot at TE" but in the back of his head was thinking this kid will certainly move to DE. He's a solid athlete for his size.

He needs to go back to Acadiana and catch passes from Walker at UL.

“Danny Lewis has really come along,” Alabama tight ends coach Bryan Ellis said before the season began. “He brings another big-body guy that can put his hand in the ground and do a lot of things. He’s a weapon in the run game He’s strong, he’s physical.”
