I'm pumped LSU has landed the top QB, WR and RB for 2025, but my concern is how many of these top players actually keep their commitment for more than a year? Believe me, I want to text all my SEC buddies and brag about landing another stud player, but I'm also afraid I'm going to be eating my words when signing day finally comes around.

This year we saw Georgia lose its top recruit to Nebraska after the QB was committed to the Bulldogs for quite a long time. Now it appears Alabama is about to lose to lose its top recruit and all indications point to Ryan Williams flipping to Auburn.

Does anyone know the percentage of recruits that stick to their commitment for more than a year?

You don’t see nearly the amount of decommits now as you used to.

Dude, you just have to enjoy it. If you can’t, then don’t. But I’m pretty sure that the same guys that are saying what you’re saying would be pissed off if we did not get the commitment. Just enjoy it, have fun and read a book.

When the #1 QB, RB, and WR commit to the same team, the rest of the country is on notice. These guys will have so much fun recruiting the rest of the country, decommits would be shocking. Of the 3, I would say Moore is the most likely even though I think that’s still a meniscual chance.

Here come the bitches. It’s insane how many in this fanbase can’t look at something for what it is without automatically complaining or expecting the worst.

You never stop recruiting the guys even after they commit.

The percentage is much higher than you would think. You’d rather them not be committed or commit somewhere else? I’d rather be in our position.

Here’s a solution; stop following recruiting if you are going to meltdown over high school kids. It’s not for you

I know your kind. You could win the lottery tomorrow and then start worrying about the taxes you would have to pay

I too am curious and posed this concern some time ago.
We have Nuss for likely 2 yrs.
There is already a good backup to Nuss currently on the roster.
There is a stud QB in the 24 class and now another stud QB in 25 and something tells me we will likely go out and grab another QB for 26.
Someone is going to make a move unless they are aware that the bulk of their snaps won’t come until their RS Junior year. What am I missing?
