This thread shows the true colors of LSU fans. This right here shows why I say, any MFer talking about loyalty needs to shut their hypocritical asses up.

I have dutifully forked out THOUSANDS of dollars in season tickets, for away games and bowl games since 2003…that’s loyalty tough guy.

What great RBs? One was a QB the other is blind and ran over skinny white kids in HS.

This is why these threads are dumb.

In no universe is what happened at the end of the 2015 season Frank Wilson's fault

Also, just to continue playing this game. Here are the RB classes under Frank:

2010
- Spencer Ware
- Alfred Blue
- Jakari Gore

2011
- Kenny Hilliard
- Jeremy Hill
- Terrance Magee

2014
- Leonard Fournette
- Darrel Williams

2015
- Derrius Guice
- Nick Brossette
- Lanard Fournette

Not that Frank is the best coach ever in da world and we must pay him 1 trillion dollars. But he recruited and coached some incredible RB rooms.

The last few years, we've gotten two good backs in Durham and Berry. The best year for RB in the state coincided with a coaching change and we lost all of those guys. He's had 2 get arrested. He turned a walk on into an NFL player.

This does not count New Orleans guys that we've held onto because of his relationship with their school and staff. Frank is a good coach. It's not going to be the end of the world, but it would suck to lose him.

He was about to commit to Ole Piss. He will be a Tigah.

Ford - 5 Star bust
Ware - 5 Star bust
Blue - 4 start, eh. Flourished in the pros once he got away from Frank.

Hilliard - never lived up to hype
Magee - bust
Hill did great but only play 1.5 years
Fournette - physical freak that never improved. Teams that recognized his vision was poor shut him down if they had the physical ability.

Guice - blew up after Frank.

Williams 4th year sophomore. Never really got better but was serviceable.

Cain - Bust
Emory - Bust
Jackson - bust but flashed as a freshman
Dunham - showed no improvement from last year.

It’s not a shocker that players had their best seasons for the most part before they got too much of Frank’s coaching.

You suggesting his 2010-2015 tenure was not good? I was referring to his return from 2022 to now.

He was carried by two players in that time frame (Hill and Fournette). The rest didn’t develop under him.

He doesn’t get credit for Guice.

Williams was doing just fine in his 3 years at LSU before Frank came. He simply got more volume under Frank. He didn’t look better in 2022-2024 than in 2021.

Running backs will not be a problem under Lane Kiffin. No matter who the rb coach is, they will come. He took like 4 backs last year in the portal, one of which was Kewan Lacy. We good. Nobody's holding us hostage anymore. The NIL game switched it up. You pay the price, you get the kid.

Are you 14 lol
quote:

Ford - 5 Star bust

4 star who signed 2 years before Frank got there. Was a good college RB.
quote:

Ware - 5 Star bust

4 star all conference RB who played for 8 years in the NFL and won 2 SB
quote:

Blue - 4 start, eh. Flourished in the pros once he got away from Frank.

5 year NFL career. Good player at LSU playing in a very, very good rotating 4 man backfield.
quote:

Magee - bust

By what metric is a guy who shared a backfield with Hill, Fournette, Ware, Ford, Hilliard, and Blue, and then had a 3 year NFL career a bust?
quote:

Hill did great but only play 1.5 years

This is how I can tell you're 14. All conference stud who was behind 3 other NFL RB is first year and then took over and dominated. 6 year NFL career.
quote:

Fournette - physical freak that never improved. Teams that recognized his vision was poor shut him down if they had the physical ability.

Never improved? What? 14 Fournette to 15 Fournette was night and day. Best RB in school history.

All teams had to do was "shut him down if they were physical" alright man. It's crazy that only one team was able to do that over his 3 year career.
quote:

Guice - blew up after Frank.

Was behind Fournette his first year. Looked unstoppable still.
quote:

Williams 4th year sophomore. Never really got better but was serviceable.

Not sure what a 4 year sophomore is. He was a good running back stuck behind two of the best running backs in SEC history. Proceeded to have a 5 year NFL career.
quote:

Cain - Bust

Was never good. Not at PSU and not at LSU. Not sure how this is on FW.
quote:

Emory - Bust

Was either injured or suspended the vast majority of his time at LSU. Was good pre-injury. Not a FW recruit.
quote:

Jackson - bust but flashed as a freshman

Style didn't work with LSU's offense.
quote:

Dunham - showed no improvement from last year.

Has likewise been injured most of his time here.
quote:

Not only is this incorrect, it doesn't even make any sense.

This is what I mean lol. I don't try and blindly support Frank, but to sit here and lie on the board is retarded. He was a top tier recruiter, motivator, and RB coach. Is he still those things? I don't know. Will LSU be better off without him? No. Will LSU be okay without him? Probably.

Wut? These guys were part of great running games in 2010-12 and we all know were screwed out of a National Title.

Do you think maybe he got "more volume" because he, I don't know, became a better running back? His first year with Frank is ypc went up almost a full yard on 80 more carries. He caught more balls, scored more touchdowns, and developed into an elite blocking RB. He's the least talented guy Frank has coached in 20 years and he made it to the NFL

It's a "Holistic" effort between Frank and Brad for rushing attack dysfunctional negligence. Wolford will fix OL, now go get Smith or another "Great Coaching" RB coach in here.
