Alabama starting OT Wilkin Formby to portal

Started 14 games this year, and 2 last year totaling over 1000 snaps over the 2 years. I understand the Alabama OL was bad but this kid is huge 6’7 324.

He started the yr at rt and I believe he slide in to rg with Caroll taking over at rt.
Had good pass blocking grades but was inconsistent.
I'm shocked lsu hasn't gone after some of these smaller conference linemen that are all conference.

I don’t get it either. I never thought I would see the day when we swapped bad offensive linemen with another team and got excited about it. Crazy times.

That’s not any more reliable a path. That’s where Shorts and Frazier came from in 22. Only Frazier ended up being a P4 player and he was never better than adequate. I know Davis bears a lot of responsibility for development, but just pointing out that it’s more about individual evaluation than where a guy comes from.

Bama's OC, Ryan Grubb has never had a good running game.
2025 Alabama - 125th
2024 Seattle (NFL) - 28th (out of 32 teams)
2023 Washington - 106th
2022 Washington - 69th
2021 Fresno - 91st
2020 Fresno - 108th
I wouldn't judge any of their OL negatively, nor our own. OC scheme can make the OL look terrible.

That is a great question, although not shocked given the poster, who consistently gives emotionally-fueled clown takes. I generally would never notice, however he is not shy about how confidently he says dumb shite lol.
