To be fair, it wasn’t until the last couple of weeks that anyone big was calling him.
Also, he’s at the Bama game with someone close to the Neville program that is a huge Bama fan. I can promise he will be in his ear for now on.

This staff will not be recruiting him, they think they have their targets. Plus there are a couple good running backs next year in state. I would love to see him at LSU.

There are some really good in state running backs, but none better than AJ (IMO). He is running behind a really strong O Line, but he has all the intangibles to be a really good running back at the next level. He also possesses a really strong work ethic.
He may not be known by every school in the country and that is really a great thing. It is the one big school in our state that should know him or at least be getting to know him.
What's the difference between a 3?? and a 4?? recruit? Kid is a gamer and anyone that has watched him play, knows this to be true. It doesn't matter how much Will talks to him if LSU doesn't call!

Ruston junior RB Dyson Fields (baseball recruit as well) has 1,101 yards in 5 games against tough competition. Smaller than Allen though.

He was previously committed to Oklahoma for baseball but reopened his recruitment. I haven't seen that he's on LSUs radar for baseball, but that doesn't mean he isn't.

Dyson is a really strong back. To be honest, I would say him and AJ are really really close in size. Dyson may be slightly shorter. Dyson runs a 4.6/4.7 40. He isn’t shifty but runs extremely hard and has great vision. Bull Hargrove really coached him up when he was hurt last year and Dyson came in as a 5th string back.
I have heard that Dyson would take a football scholarship (to the right place) over a baseball scholarship.
AJ has more YPC and is definitely more spectacular to watch. Dyson is an old school bang and grit it out back. They are not really comparable other than they are two really good backs. Dyson is a very young junior, maybe 16?

Why would you say this? He was a coach at Neville last season after being waived by New England for medical reasons.

Played at La Tech, was not recruited at all by LSU, teammates w/ R Lawrence, doesn’t like LSU, Will steer anyone away from LSU, Tech was trounced by LSU while he played there. I’m sure filling his head up with negatives, beside Will C should be in his ear over Wallace

He is a good dude and a pretty good coach. His 7v7 team gives kids a chance to be spotlighted against some really good talent from state to state. He is good by me!!
