Losing Stewart sucks especially since we already lost Harold, but I like our D-line haul so far. Might not be for the star gazers, but eager beats pretty everytime.

True. Really all any of this means is a kid may be at one school for the coming season. And then you can recruit him again anyway so it’s not the end of the world. It’s not like when a kid signs somewhere, it means he’s gonna be there 3-4 years like it used to. It’s pretty much year to year

No need to panic over losing any recruit anymore. We can just tamper and try again next fall

If things pan out this way, I think we have to be pretty damn happy. We have 4 very good DT’s coming in. Maybe none of them have Stewart’s ceiling, but dropping what it will take to get him is risky business. As someone else said, I think the play is use the money allocated for him on 2-3 proven OL/DL from the portal. Plus if he does end up being a stud, at least he’s at SC and not Texas or Georgia or Bama.

Stewart played, what 10 games in high school or something. I'm not stressing.

Agreed. If we hadn’t recruited so well on the D-line last couple cycles, we would’ve basically been forced to overspend on Stewart
