I just saw this while browsing 247 lists.
Anyone know whether he would be worth an offer? Seems to have been fairly highly rated out of HS.
Can Burrell kick FGs with accuracy? Do we even need another K?

Likely will get Evan Noel from Florida. #1 kicker out of his HS class.
Special Teams coach that recruited him (Joe Houston) left Florida for LSU recently. I wouldn't be surprised to see him join us & have already heard rumblings. He is already in the portal.

about to be on his 3rd team in 3 years. younger brother just signed with A&M. good kid with strong leg but has not been able to win the job at two different schools now.

Thanks. I had seen Noel mentioned but was not sure of latest status.
I see that coming out of HS, Noel was .8317 247 composite and Murray was .8219.
I'll trust the new staff to get the right guy.

Saw that he was 4 for 6 FGs and all were from 40-49 yards with a 49 long for Cal. He was also the main Kickoff guy with 14 touchbacks out of 41 KOs. The other guy that beat him out was 10 of 13 but his 3 misses were from 40-49.

Rumor has it the Ole Miss kicker may remain at Ole Miss now. LSU had reportedly offered around $400K to him.
