Orgeron is responsible for winning, not some ethereal Rivals score.
They obviously viewed Lee and Burns as marginal and expendable players, and treated them as such.
Why you would want players the coaching staff didn’t value is beyond me.

It's all over for the University of LSU. No need to watch the nat'l championship game. We already lost the recruiting title to OSU and Clempson... so who really cares anymore. Don't cancel that Netflix account.... gonna need it for Saturdays next fall. Sad day for the state of Louisiana.

With Lee in the class it was hard to go after Burch. They can still land Jackson.
Burns was going to be buried in the depth chart and we potentially have bigger needs left in this class. Burns signs and becomes your 6th best corner, and then next year we sign the best DB in the nation and burns still stays down the depth chart

Class is good but getting the hardware usually bumps it up a notch the following year. Think O got a little cocky playing the numbers game. Hopefully he learns and continues good relations with some coaches.

Face facts. O had a plan and it backfired.
I still love our coaches. Made some recruiting mistakes, but I know they will learn from it and come back 2x stronger next year

I don't get why that happens if we still have open slots now?
Is this a common thing and all major schools do it?
