We will see. Not gonna hold my breath this early in the process. We have been burned too many times by these out of state players. Not sure why any of them verbally commit anymore bc it means absolutely nothing. Commit until they get more money is what they should say.

It's not like we're offering these kids nothing.

They still get paid coming here. We just also offer development, competing for a title, playing in the best conference and experiencing the greatest atmosphere in all of college sports.

A lot of other schools claim all the things I said above but we have a proven track record of actually doing it.
Ok now explain why we were elite at DB when Corey Raymond left, then we had the worst stretch of DBs in the past 25 years then he comes back and were immediately landing monsters again.

LSU is brand but clearly we couldn't sell it without him.

I'm happy about this and thank you for the post, but I just can't really care anymore. I hate the new college football. Hope he signs after the bidding war.

I think signing day will soon be a thing of the past. It will be like NFL free agency. It will be a rush to get the prospects/recruits to sign a contract. Once signed, no flipping or changing of the mind. You're done son.

Completely understandable. Were the last of a dying breed. Might as well become portal recruitniks at this point

This.

Kids from Los Angeles rarely make it to LSU.

Does this need be said for every commitment? Let's just say that this phrase is understood and move on.

Hey, miserable a-hole, don't comment anymore then. Have to love all the Nega-nancies that complain every time we gain a commitment from a stud player. Will they all stick? No. But DVinBR would rather not get any commitments than get them. Please go to another board with your bullshite. Thx!

it's called being realistic in modern recruiting

the commitment would mean more before the NIL/Portal era

Very excited for this commitment. This guy was the #1 CB in the country before he reclassified to 2026, and might very well be a 5-star when all is said and done. He already is a 5-star on rivals.

DBU is coming back baby!

No fricking shite, but you said the same exact thing 21 other dumbasses said before you said, just in different words.

Everyone that’s here knows the landscape of college football these days, we don’t need a fistful of assholes to remind us every single time someone worth a shite commits to LSU.

__________

No. That claim can only be used the first Million times. You missed the boat on being modern. Try to not be a total waste of time.

This kid looks good. The high end DB recruiting combined with the Dline recruiting has me hopeful that we are returning to the good D we were spoiled with for years.
