I think Scott might be seen more as an outside corner with his length. Allen is viewed more as a hybrid slot corner/free safety at the next level.

Hope he makes it in this class. Cover skills are really good, but his biggest attribute is his physicality. He's not afraid to come up and make a big hit. I can see him as a nickel back for sure. Helps that his cousin is Malik Nabors. And HS teammates of Sage and Fitz West.

The timing is interesting because they have some big time DBs coming in on OVs this weekend and the next.

Was it Allen or another cornerback from LCA that locked up AJ Johnson in their playoff with Newman last season?

It was Allen. Sage was hurt so Allen was their top cover guy.

Jordan Allen was the top cover cornerback all year, according to Coach Faulk.
I interviewed Trev Faulk yesterday. He said Sage Ryan mostly played offense last year.
Allen didn’t allow a completion all season.
Faulk said Arch Manning targeted Johnson 13-14 times with 0 completions.
