2024 roster w commits/PORTALS ...will update in perpetuity. + Suggs

Transfers in and out will be updated as we go. Kindly let me know if I am missing anyone, or if I have the wrong year/classification. This is not a depth chart, it is a placement chart to see how deep we are at each position.
Please note this is next year’s roster and how this year’s recruits May fill it. It will change frequently. There will be some young men that are on this list that won’t be here in 2024. I will update. And yeah I know Malik is first round. I will take him off when he declares.

I like that BK has said that he understands that we have really good players but depth has to be built to be competitive year in year out. Great work

It's a good looking core roster. Stay healthy and get a few breaks, and we should be right there for the CFPs in 23 & 24 (and next season they are expanded to 12 teams).
You have to be impressed how quickly CBK has assembled this roster & staff. Our best football, with JD & Nuss, is still ahead of us.

I agree. The portal obviously has its place as a means to acquire impact talent and/or immediate depth but I hope LSU continues to recruit the high school ranks hard.

If Nabers, Wingo, and Maason Smith all have great years, they won’t be on the roster in 2024.

Spot on. Believe he said that during the spring game. He understands the needs of the portal right now but high school is where he wants to build the foundation.

I am expecting Marlon Martinez to take the Center position and possibly stay another yr to build draft stock. JMHO

Does this list assume everyone with remaining eligibility comes back? Not knocking it, just curious.
Also, I know what you mean but I still got a chuckle out of this sentence:
DL and RB are the most obvious concerns I think. On DL I just assume several of those guys will be gone. If not, then it would actually be pretty stacked.. but seems unlikely.
RB is kind of crazy to be honest. I know there are some big targets in next year’s class but wouldn’t be surprised to see them grab a depth piece from the portal after ESD.
I’m actually not that worried about OL. Maybe that’s naive, but I feel pretty good about our ability to plug holes there if needed.. as long as Brad Davis doesn’t go anywhere.
