We need more DB's, LB and OL committs.

I don't really disagree, but I would hold slots for Maason Smith, Brian Thomas Jr, and Korey Foreman. That only leaves 4 slots which hopefully includes Sage Ryan and Tristan Leigh. We currently have 3 LB committed with 7 slated to come back next year.
Who do you propose that we drop to get more linebackers?
At this point I would want more Safeties followed by more Offensive Line for any available spots. I would have to look at the 3 WDE commits for any extra spots. There just aren't any other positions where we are "overstocked".

Agree that we definitely need safeties . We lose Stephens and Lewis, and Harris isn't a great cover safety. Besides Hampton and Toles, do we have anyone else? Seems awfully thin.

Stevens needs to be moved to Lber in this defense. He’s being taken advantage of by OC’s this year.

Stevens should've never been at fs.
He is 6'1 230
Play him near the line
He could probably even just play linebacker

Added Matthew Langlois to crystal ball list.

I think that getting 3 safeties in this class is essential. I think the Tigers are going to have to convert a CB to safety as well. And recruit Harris to come back for his RS Senior season.

What makes you think Harris wouldn't come back for '21? He hasn't done anything yet at LSU to even consider him leaving early for NFL. You think he's just ready to give up football career?

Doesn't the Langlois offer/crystal balls make Gilbert less of a buzz guy?

That is the funniest thing I have seen on here today. There is no way Harris could be thinking about the NFL draft...

6 spots left:
Praying to god we finish with
Maason Smith
Sage Ryan
Jack Bech
Tristan Leigh
Korey Foreman
DDJ or Brian Thomas Jr or OLineman
Our thinnest position this year is DBs, LBs, OL.
What y’all think?

I’m thinking multiple guys currently committed won’t end up signing, So there are more than 6 left to go.

Was just crunching the numbers myself. I gotta think for a Final 6, a dream would be:
1) Maason
2) Foreman
3) Sage
4) Leigh
5) Bech
6) Either Byrd, the FSU OL commit, or a DB

We should’ve taken Kaine Williams earlier this year when we had the chance
Posted on 10/28/20 at 3:54 pm to lsutigers718
Didn't the staff see him as a tweener though?

Pretty sure we are more confident on Mason than foreman even though we might get both

Don’t know how easy it will be with visits not allowed, but I would think we will try to flip Sage until signing day and go after other committed prospects. There hasn’t been much smoke around a bunch of uncommitted guys lately.
