I get your point, and like I said, it’s certainly possible. Some kids know they want to stay close to home, and others have no problem being far away. No judgment here. I just figured that this sort of issue is one that even an 18 year old would have a decent feel for well before signing day. But either way, good luck to him and we need to move on to the OL and Thomas.

I have a feeling that several of the freshmen LBs who didn’t play this year are potential transfer casualties

Next man up. He doesn't deserve the honor of being a Tiger.

How in the hell do you get that from him decommitting and why bash the kid? He's only 17/18 years old and trying to figure it out. There's nothing wrong with anyone making sure they are placing themselves in the best situation for their personal development.

I was saying that I had a feeling he wasn't coming because he has been very quiet. Suspected he'd flip to USC to play in Cali with Foreman.

White and Sampah should've got snaps period.

I think Cox is gone

White
Sampah
Webb
Baskerville
Penn
Strong
Clark

Is still a great group but it every single position should be open during camp. Clark and Baskerville need to be pushed and we need playmakers period.

I’m pretty surprised that Davis jumped ship, but I guess the writing should have been on the wall with his comments about LSU. Seemed like 100% business decision.

He decommitted because Pelini is getting canned. He hasn't signed anywhere, and he's not waiting until signing day to switch and screw people over. The kid did nothing wrong and doesn't deserve this.

I agree, atleast he didn't do it on ESD and atleast it gives us time to get a good DC in to maybe get him back.

Why is it hard to believe that he likes LSU but simply doesn't want to go to school halfway across the country?

Then don't commit to a school halfway across the country.

You mean like how LSU quit on those commits they told to “look elsewhere”?

Works both ways. You just have your panties in a bunch over this because he’s a top-rated player.

This is about this player. I have the ability to dislike both situations. They aren't mutually exclusive. LSU is wrong in not honoring those scholarships and I think this guy is not a good fit for the program because he quit before even getting on the team and is very possibly a future quitter. We need leaders not quitters as the last two games illustrated perfectly.

I’m concerned about Sampah and Webb leaving

Webb especially. Because this dude’s specialty in high school was rushing the passer. All I see is Ojulari off the edge coming back as of now.

I agree with NOSA. It's funny how the people bashing his character are the ones actually lacking character.
Pelini gone and Coach O not on solid ground. I can't blame the kid. Maybe when he hire a new coordinator they will reach out to him.

They did.

I think we messed up on Edgerrin Cooper. Time will tell, but A&M thinks he’s a player

This isn’t a surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention. He’ll be at USC
