I don't think BR has gotten anything more than 40 mph gusts enough.

They can clean up campus in time....but the city? Doubt it.

Yeah we haven't even been through anything yet.

I'll feel pretty good if we make it through this band that's rotating up through Ascension and Livingston.

Yeah just saw that. Hopefully we'll get back to class by Friday. I don't want too many make up days, especially if we're probably already gonna lose Fall Break

Yeah I'm just using the power while I have it. Watching the TV and using my computer, took a shower with light, and eating out of the fridge

There is a clear slice on the wunderground radar starting in E Feliciana Parish all the way to south of Lafayette. The west side of the eye has opened and the eye is no longer round but ragged.

The 10 AM advisory says max winds have dropped a little to 75 MPH and it has slowed a little to 5 MPH NW movement. Pressure came up to 972 mb.

I'm told Parkview Oaks and Parknoll Place are in it and I think Carrington Place too.

If this thing went due north from its current location, Baton Rouge wouldn't see shite.

BUT, that isn't going to happen. Hopefully it doesn't drop the east eye wall on BR.

It also appears to be weakening, so thats a positive. My mom lives down the street from Zippys and has power. Brother is in same neighborhood and is all good too.

My dad lives downtown and is also still on.

Looking at radar, the leading edge of a very heavy band is probably about 15-20 minutes from hitting the SE part of EBRP. Everything to this point has been a popcorn fart.
