Good god! All of these folks need to get kicked in the balls. Quit trying to make it sound worse than it is. Fcking idiots.

On radar the eye wall appears to be over Venice (52mph)and grand isle(43 mph). Yet NOAA saying wind speed of Isaac is 80 mph.

I've been looping the radar for the past 3 hours, and it doesn't look like the eye has moved much at all. I don't where they get these directional movement from because it looks almost stalled.
The eye also appears to be contracting some. Certainly going to be a long night for people living down there.

Message Posted by Ba Ba Boooey If Cantore is on the river walk, the river is floating upriver at Nola. Anyone know if he is east or west bank?
Not watching, but of he's in the same place he was right before sundown, he's at the carnival dock on the east bank
Edit, just turned it on. Yes, that's where he's at.

Genius on Weather Channel was drawing Google Earth and drew a line on the east side of the River while calling it the Westbank.
The Westbank IS on the East side of the river i'n that area.
And Cantori is by the CCC where the downstream current flows north.
The river winds up and down buddy .

So is Isaac back over water trying to geg his act together?Looks like eye is getting tighter, maybe I am seeing things.

so far, the concern is flooding from rain because the storm is moving so slow. If we get sustained winds in 50 mph range, that could spell trouble for power outages. Let's hope wind speeds stay low.
